Description: If you are looking for the perfect home away from home, where you can sit back, relax, and enjoy the great outdoors, then Deer Run Resort is the place to be. There are over 80 RV paved sites available with full hookups including water, sewer, and 30-50 Amp electricity with blacktop roads leading to all of them. There is a complimentary library available at the lodge that includes puzzles and magazines, a new shower and restroom facility and one of the newest cabin resorts in the area that is open year round.

Deer Run Resort Park is open from April 15th through October 15th and the immaculate Deer Run Lodge is open for the campers to use as a place to meet friends, have potlucks, or just sit and read in our fully furnished library with your favorite book or magazine. If you're feeling challenged then try putting a puzzle together at the Lodge.

RV Campers will also enjoy the free firewood as each site comes with your own campfire ring, picnic table and concrete patio. The abundant wildlife of Northeastern Iowa such as the whitetail deer, bald eagles, turkey and pheasants are what makes Deer Run Resort different than the other RV Parks. Deer Run Resort sits on the edge of Elkader which is nestled in a woodland valley along the winding Turkey River where fishing is plentiful and canoeing & tubing is the favorite past time. There are many things to do at and around Deer Run Resort with the local swimming pool, and several biking & hiking nature trails within walking distance.
